I received the following message from Alberto Pezzotta, a journalist in Milan IT, who wrote a review of this website for Corriere della sera.

Dear Mr. Lund

I'm a film critic based in Milano. I write for the newspaper "Corriere della sera", and I've done a short review of your web site about Zoë Lund (it's a daily space where I write about books, DVDs, web sites which I like). I had just discovered it - an english friend gave me the address.

I copy the text of the review below. If you give me an address, I can send you the actual clipping. The review appears today, sunday 9, on page 53. But since it's on the local section, you won't found it on the "Corriere" sold in NYC. My compliments for your wonderful and touching work. I've written a book about Abel Ferrara, in 1999, but now, having read excerpts from the original screenplay, I should rewrite the chapter concerning BAD LIEUTENANT.

Best greetings

The following translation is a compilation of rough attempts provided by friends. It will hopefully be fine-tuned with the assistance of Mr. Pezzotta.

On the Web
A new Site to Remember Zoë Lund, the disturbing muse of Abel Ferrara.

At sixteen, she played "The Angel of Vengeance" of Abel Ferrara; after this, she wrote the screenplay of "Bad Lieutenant" in which she also appeared in a key role. At risk of being remembered only for these two films, the undisciplined talent of Zoe Lund, née Tamerlis (1963-1999). An ex-child prodigy of music, in New York during the 70's she dreamed of becoming a revolutionary, and ended up a slave of heroin, theorizing her dependence ("it is the only drug of disillusion"). A new site of incredible richness, curated by her husband Robert, reconstructs this multifaceted figure (writer, scriptwriter, fashion photo model from early youth who resembled a much more disturbing Nastassja Kinski) - through pictures, interviews, stories, confessions. Comparing her screenplay for "Bad Lieutenant" with the film, it seems that Ferrara didn't have much to do, so as not to tone down the most vivid points of Zoe's imaginative screenplay.

Chris Walken commissioned her to do a script on John Holmes. Oliver Stone a screenplay. But like her novel "490" (evangelical reference to forgiveness) all remain, unfortunately, unpublished and never realized.
